Lively Dreaming of India

2020, the year when India witnesses a great upheaval! A revolution, turning down the entire notion of a developing India, giving birth and nurturing, caressing the dream of A DEVELOPED INDIA  into a reality!
When Rakesh Sharma went out into the space for the first time, Indira Gandhi asked him how India looked from there. All that he could answer was,"Saare Jahan se achha Hindustan humara!" We are more than privileged to be living in such a beautiful nation like India. I am privileged to be here and am privileged to be writing about a great nation like India.
I have travelled around India, and have found the love that you can experience only here. Being a Christian, I don't bow in front of other gods, but when given an opportunity, I definitely go to the gurudwara, temple, mosque, church etc. to see the beautiful architecture found "ONLY IN INDIA"! Everyday when I step out of my gates, I see people smiling at me, little kids belonging to the banjara community looking at me with hopeful eyes, that I would give them a penny or something. Every morning the ladies of the "colony" stand in their balconies, and when I glimpse at them, they smile and ask me about my whole family, college, exams - all in just 2 minutes of their time!
India can never be dreamt of without the noise, the chit-chatting women, the small roads and big cars, the high-rollers alongside the struggling yet happy, poor population! However, India is always dreamt about without corruption, pollution and without sky shattering inflammation! When I dream of India, I see travelling safely and luxuriously to any place within India for the price that I pay for the train ticket, aeroplane ticket; I see myself getting an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy mobile in about Rs.10,000; I witness rapid replies to all my queries in a public booth; I witness rapid actions taken against the culprits who are responsible for destroying lives, property, etc.; I witness the President, Prime Minister and all in charge taking quick steps and not waiting for another bomb blast to take place! I dream of India, lively - struck with Life!
And so, in the words of John Lennon, "I am a dreamer - But I'm not the only one!"
Every Indian desires this, and if the government, the problem-makers, the money-hoggers are not deaf or not sleeping, then they will definitely hear us out and for once change on their own - otherwise when the people rise up, there is no force that can shut us out!

The First Day

It's the 30th of May, 12:45 pm. I am creating my first blog!
So, A big "Hello" to y'all!!!
I have heard all sorts of stories about blogging, and one that really inspires me is of my German Teacher. This lady, so strong and firm in her belief, is an epitome of the "real-teacher", one that we hardly can find today! Such a sad state isn't it? Well, blogging is an untreaded path for me, yet to reveal itself completely. As this mystery unfolds, I have a faith that I'll become true to the definition of a "blogger". For now, it's me Prashansa Punjabi, an amateur blogger (for the time-being) signing off! As in the Chinese Proverb, "A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step", this blog is for me my first step!
Hope to write more! :)
